Java Bomani AKA Java da Ancient After penning a few books & 4 screenplays, Java made a return to music. Several years ago, Java was a part of a hip hop duo named, THE ROADRUNNERS. The group had only been together for a short while before they received a record deal offer from B-Boy Records in the Bronx, NY. Even though, the thought of being label mates with KRS-One, Jerry Levi and The Cold Crush Brothers was tempting, the Roadrunners ultimately decided not to sign on. A short while later, the group disbanded. He says he never really stopped writing rhymes, even while writing the books Chocolate Cherry Milk, A Friend of Nikki Sunshine's , Chocolate Cherry Milk Evolution. He's also written 4 screenplay's to date. da JOY a LUV, The Cartoon Concerto, A Friend of Nikki Sunshine's and Pyar Ki Kha Tir. Lyrical JKD is Java's first real run at the music industry since the old days, but it's all still so fresh and new. |

| MORE ON Java Java is a serious Martial Artist and has contributed to the Martial arts e-books on this site. He's studied Positive American Karate under Sensei Kurt "Golden Feet" Holloway achieving the rank of Black Belt. He's also worked on elements of Wing Chun (1 and a half years) with an instructor who wants to remain anonymous. Jeet Kune Do / Doce Pares (for 1 year) under Sifu Don Edwards, (website www.imafit.com) who was certified by Sifu Richard Bustillo, one of Bruce Lee's original students. Today he works on his own, and has used elements of Jeet Kune Do Concepts for many years and is an instructor in the Autumn Wind Martial Way. He's a very deep thinker and tries to live and achieve Mental and Physical balance. Jeet Kune Do is a big part of the Java Bomani story, even applying it to the way he rhymes. |
