| THE EDGE OF INSANITY by Java Bomani Ya know, they drive a brother to the edge of insanity, Sista don't abandon me. I need ya help, your strength to go the length. But she's fairy tale shoppin for a prince, in a sense. I tried to be her king, she treated me like Rodney. No respect at home, no respect at work. The less I get, the more I could just kill a jerk. Can't get a job, should I start to rob. The one I got, wouldn't let me do the fries. I see hurt, in my woman's eyes But there's nothing I can do, baby, I need you. She's leavin, leavin, leavin now she's gone. You can keep on steppin, glad I be got no weapon. Cause when ya down, everybody wanta to kick ya. When ya down, everybody wanta kick ya. When ya down, everybody wanta kick ya. Stick ya, you're stuck till ya knees do the hucklebuck. So here I go tippy toein insanity's edge, I guess I didn't know the ledge. Feels like I’m fallin, slippin, ready to dish a whippin. Gat in my belt cause these pigs is trippin. Like a black acrobat I flip, what if I flip. You're all in G, all in. Ya punks love to triple team, no we can't get along. Don't hold my hand, I ain't singin no songs. I ain’t goin out like Rodney King. I ain’t goin out like King, no. I ain’t goin out like Rodney King, I ani't goin out like King, so. I go for what I know, that's all I know how. If my Jammy go blouw, never liked you anyhow. Like well enough, you should have left me alone. Now the shit is on, it's the dawn of insanity. Sweatin bullets in a room, with the A.C. blarin. Finger dancin on the trigga, at the wall I'm starin. Thoughts of endin it all, enter my mind, hey. Why must it be this way? The strain, the strain, causes Insurmountable pressure. No knowledge of self, makes you an aggressor. It's time to pay em back, for all they earned. When you suckers gonna learn, now the baby baby burns. I'm walkin the edge of insanity, wooo. I'm walkin the edge of insanity. |
